Challenge

Dismantling a KAAK automated line designed for the production of the Pullman bread (,,pain de mie”).

Project

The production line is entirely dismantled within a factory in Witten, Germany, then loaded on trucks to reach its final destination in Tunisia.

The works are performed during one month by a Normandia team of 6 technicians comprised of 3 mechanics and 3 electricians.

At the interior, the site is isolated from the other running production units and after the electrical disconnection of the production line, the proofer, the conveyor and the stainless steel insulated panels of the room are dismantled on modules. Among the components of the production line, the flour silos are also dismantled by our technicians. As the trays store is oversized, it is divided in two charges and prepared for the transport. The trays which are removed manually and the chains are assembled and together with all dismantled modules are wrapped in foil and secured for the transport.

At the exterior, our specialists dismantle the cooling system using a crane.

The entire production line will be delivered and reinstalled in Tunisia.
