The client: NBHX ROLEM
The challenge: Installation in Romania of an industrial painting line for automotive interior parts made of 3 Fanuc robots, one for CO2 spray cleaning of automotive parts and 2 for parts painting and varnishing and 110 PLC operated engines, out of which 25 for air circulation and ventilation and 85 for the conveyor network.
The project: Considering the size and complexity of the project, our teams of 4 to 8 technicians comprised of electricians, mechanics and automation engineers performed a wide range of works such as mechanical assembly of the industrial painting line, staff training, industrial painting line control and supervision, electrical installation and commissioning.
The painting line is outstanding, being the 2nd largest industrial line of this kind in Europe, covering a surface of over 880 square meters. It is disposed on 4 levels (basement, ground-floor, first roof level and technical level for thermal agent control).
We provided control of main elements of the line by means of interfaces installed on the 3 internal desktops, such as invertors, water pumps, ovens, pumps for chemicals in the closed circuit internal water network, RTO, chiller, analogic manometers. Our specialists dealt with electrical, mechanical or programming failures and successfully treat all system programming issues, initiating technical solutions to enhance efficiency of the line before its delivery.
In addition, Normandia teams ensured the client’s staff training for the correct use of the line according to the technical standards, supervising the implementation of corrective actions and monitoring the staff during the process.
Normandia also ensured assistance during the 1 year warranty period.
