NORMANDIA’s partnership with EBERSPAECHER EXHAUST TEHNOLOGY ROMANIA started in 2017, with the transfer of 4 robot welding booths from the Czech Republic to Romania.

Since then, NORMANDIA has been a reliable EBERSPAECHER partner in industrial projects aimed, in particular, at the transfer and installation of industrial production lines. All these transfer works generally include the dismantling of equipment, the packaging of subassemblies, their loading on trucks, their transport, the reassembly of the line and assistance at commissioning.

The manufacturer of exhaust systems, Eberspaecher Exhaust Technology Romania is a subsidiary of the German group Eberspächer, a world leader in systems and components for vehicles in the field of exhaust gas cleaning, thermal management and vehicle electronics.

Project

Transfer of a complex production line for car systems and components to a German premium car manufacturer.

During May-July of this year, 8 NORMANDIA technicians performed complex works within the project of transferring the production line from Germany to Romania. The challenge of this project was the scale of the works: 3 component lines were transferred in stages.

The works started in Germany with the disassembly, packaging, loading of the components and their transfer from Germany to Romania. This was followed by the unloading and reassembly of the equipment by the NORMANDIA team in the factory in Romania.

Work continued with assistance at commissioning together with NORMANDIA technicians and automation engineers.

The transfer of a cell from line I took place at a later stage.

In the last stage of the project, the next two lines were dismantled, packed, loaded on trucks and transferred to the factory in Oradea, NORMANDIA providing at the same time the equipment for loading and unloading the equipment in both locations, as well as trucks for transport.

 

Currently, the NORMANDIA projects at the EBERSPAECHER factory in Oradea, include maintenance works on the robotic production lines, as well as interventions on the YASKAWA robots in the factory.
